Comedy Musical in the Heart of Cologne
--------------------------------------

Cologne humor, plenty of music, and big emotions await you at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz. This multi-award-winning comedy musical tells the turbulent story of young pastor Elmar, who leaves his village parish and is transferred to the vibrant center of Cologne.

Look forward to captivating music ranging from jazz to Cologne pop, a first-class live orchestra, and spectacular choreography. One eventful night full of surprises takes Elmar through shisha bars and traditional breweries – straight into the magic of the cathedral city.

On selected dates, prominent guest stars also appear on stage in cameo roles alongside the ensemble. The musical is a humorous love letter to Cologne – perfect for an entertaining evening in the cathedral city.
