"Do Cellos Dream of Electric Pigs?" ALBUM RELEASE CONCERT
---------------------------------------------------------

On Friday, October 23, 2026, the Rupert Gillett Trio will celebrate the release of its album “Do Cellos Dream of Electric Pigs?” at LOFT Cologne. You can look forward to a concert evening that blends jazz, songwriting, and theatrical elements into an extraordinary musical experience.

The focus is on the wild electric cello, which weaves its way through catchy songs, swinging tunes, and sizzling jazz moments. Add to that quirky lyrics, visual surprises, and giant robot pigs, and the evening becomes much more than a traditional concert.

The Rupert Gillett Trio plays with expectations and genre boundaries, bringing a unique musical and visual spectacle to the stage. If you’re in the mood for jazz with a twist, humor, and theatrical energy, this release concert at Cologne’s renowned LOFT is the perfect place for you.
