Horizont Theater

The Horizont Theater am Thürmchenswall has stood for artistic diversity and innovation in Cologne's theater scene for 36 years. With its 99 seats, it offers an intimate atmosphere for adaptations of classical works as well as contemporary plays that appeal to a wide audience. Particularly noteworthy is the commitment to children's and youth theater through the "Krabbeltheater", which involves children from the age of two.

Freelance actors from different cultural backgrounds enrich the program with performances of drama, comedy and musical theater. The "Literature Café" complements the theater events with readings and performances and promotes cultural exchange.
