21Köln Halbmarathon

On 9 May 2027, 21KÖLN will celebrate its premiere as a new half marathon in the cathedral city. You can look forward to 21.1 kilometres filled with a passion for running, Cologne atmosphere and unforgettable moments. The loop course starts at MediaPark and runs through the city, past well-known Cologne landmarks with views of the Rhine and the cathedral.

The route is officially measured by the German Athletics Association (DLV), making it eligible for official rankings. Whether you are an ambitious runner, taking on your first half marathon or kick-starting the running season with a sporting highlight, 21KÖLN offers a professionally organised running experience that brings together ambition, community and Cologne’s unique spirit.

The 21KÖLN EXPO opens on the Saturday before the race. Here, you can collect your race pack, visit exhibitor stands and get in the mood for the running event at the food area.
