Take a deep breath: seconds of silence before the rope tightens. Then: adrenaline. Wakeboarders speed across the water at over 40 km/h, taking off – a twist, a somersault, as if gravity were just optional. The professional wakeboard scene lives for these moments: flying bodies, roaring spectators, perfection in split seconds. One thing is clear: Behind every rotation lie years of training, countless falls, and an unshakeable will for freedom. 

Wakeboarding is complicated – but watching the wakeboard elite is pretty easy. At festivals like EAT PLAY LOVE, not only do turntable artists gather, but these professional air and water athletes compete in an annual contest – making the water a stage. More precisely – the regatta course at Fühlinger See, that elongated, undisturbed area in the north of Cologne.

EAT PLAY LOVE spans an entire weekend and offers you – in addition to the wakeboarding event – another vibrant cultural program with a kids area. International artists perform here, and there are culinary highlights from around the world.

In short for you: Food trucks, wakeboard pros, rave and summer sun – all at one of Cologne's most beautiful water locations, Fühlinger See. This encompasses the concept of the annually held EAT PLAY LOVE festival.

Music by the Lake

The pre-announced lineup offers you plenty of variety on various days – across the electronic underground. On the lake stage and terrace, there are different live music & acts throughout the period. 

Moreover, an annual skateboard event also takes place here – where the regional and national skateboard scene competes in a contest. 

Food as Experience

Street food means diversity – a culinary world tour offers you plenty of choices for tastings, new taste discoveries, and enjoyment moments at the festival. You can expect hearty burger creations as well as sweet temptations or exotic flavors from far, far away. The festival gives you no reason to leave the grounds prematurely.

Family Friendly? Why Not!

Having fun at a festival with the family – EAT PLAY LOVE has naturally thought of that. Want to have fun with your loved ones? There is an area for youngsters and little ones: in the kids' area. Here you'll find a bouncy castle or puppet theater. And food anyway – at the different food stations, not only children's hearts will beat faster.
