The experience begins with a ride in an authentic replica of a historic Cologne streetcar. With a 360-degree view, you are transported back to 1926 and experience the city in its urban spirit of optimism—long before the destruction of the Second World War. The rattling of the rails, the noticeable rush of wind, and the richly detailed staging make this journey through time both sensual and intense.
Afterwards, the absinthe tasting with Dr. Seltsam begins. You will sample selected absinthes from renowned producers as well as his own creations—ranging from delicate anise notes to bold, herbaceous distillates. Along the way, you’ll hear well-founded background insights and entertaining anecdotes about one of Europe’s most legendary spirits.
