Germany's smallest wine store, a quiet favorite behind the Eigelstein
Eight square meters, selected wines, in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
Behind the tracks at the main station is an inconspicuous door, behind which the city pauses for a moment. The tiny wine store is officially the smallest in the whole of Germany. A room so small that two people can talk in it.
It is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 pm until 10 pm. Inside: Wines and sparkling wines selected by the owners, served without much fanfare. No menu, no tasting theater - just a bottle, a few glasses, a recommendation, sometimes a chat.
Outside and in the equally tiny inner courtyard, life goes on - with snacks brought along. Inside, there's room for a break.
