Living room comfort with style

Right in the heart of Cologne's traditional Eigelstein district lies a true gem: the Elektra Bar. A living room-style club that stands out with its understated sophistication and mid-century modern furniture in a space with dark rosewood paneling. A glance through the bar's generous glass front reveals just how special this place is within the Torburg's otherwise rustic surroundings. Cleverly designed, it seamlessly combines timeless elegance with urban authenticity.

Since its takeover by Daniel Gadzinowski in 2020, Elektra has experienced a renaissance. Here, minimalist design meets the charming vibe of a corner pub, complemented by DJ sets spinning jazz, soul, ambient, or electronic tunes. The music remains subtle, allowing for conversations free from noise disturbance. When the DJs take over, the space, despite its airy design, often gets cozy—especially when guests dance late into the night, even within the limited space.

The menu is intentionally pared down, yet classics like the Negroni or Espresso Martini impress with robust and thoughtful blends. Particularly noteworthy is the New York Sour, with a touch of red wine that lends the drink balance and depth.
