Starting May 9, BUBBLE PLANET opens an experiential space in Cologne where you can rethink imagination and digital design. The installation, previously shown in metropolises such as Los Angeles, London, and Singapore, unfolds across twelve themed rooms to create an immersive scenario of shimmering bubble structures, delicate light choreographies, and disorienting shifts in perspective.
It’s less about spectacular effects and more about your perception: How does your sense of space change as you walk through a vast ball pit? What happens to your self-image and your perception of others in a mirrored infinity room? And what kinds of realities open up to you in virtual landscapes explored through VR technology?
BUBBLE PLANET is not a traditional exhibition, but a participatory parcours that you actively shape. Between sound, color, and movement, you generate your own resonances. This is precisely where its cultural significance becomes compelling: as an international social media phenomenon, the project reveals how closely intertwined physical experience and digital publicity have become. When you share your impressions, you extend the space into the virtual realm—and become part of a global dialogue about aesthetics, play, and self-representation.
Until early November 2026, a temporary venue will take shape in Cologne that offers you fewer ready-made answers than consciously designed experiences—a laboratory of perception that takes your curiosity seriously and provides a reflective framework for play.
