Early Summer

At Cologne's G'ART'EN, the “Early Summer” event combines handmade creativity and sustainable design with an urban, relaxed atmosphere. Around 40 green labels and regional start-ups present products that not only look good, but also meet ethical and fair standards. Between colorful container spaces, pallet furniture, and hammocks, a lively picture of innovative craftsmanship and conscious consumption unfolds.

The Workshop & Art Area offers a special insight. Here, visitors can add their own creative touches and discover their skills and learn new techniques under the guidance of experienced designers, for example in screen printing or upcycling. This hands-on experience not only creates a connection to traditional craftsmanship, but also raises awareness of sustainable practices.

Live music from newcomer bands and laid-back DJ sounds provide a varied supporting program, complemented by a diverse range of street food made from regional ingredients. Here, the values of diversity, regionality, and creativity meet artistic expression and social awareness—an event that invites reflection on consumption and creative self-expression.
