KUNST.HAND.WERK. on April 18 and 19, 2026 in the Pattenhalle Cologne-Ehrenfeld brings together artisan positions that explore the dialog between material, function and aesthetic standards. In a former industrial building, encounters are created with people who develop independent objects in their workshops, studios or manufactories - often with persistent manual work, always with a clear attitude to quality. The exhibition of the Cologne Applied Arts Association shows works made of glass, wood, ceramics, paper, stone, textiles and jewelry, whose design is based on experience, technical skill and precise observation of materials. The unique pieces presented here reflect how traditional processes intertwine with contemporary design approaches.
