Monuments & fountains in Cologne

Photo spots on the walk

History set in stone

Curious, edifying, historical and photogenic - Cologne's city centre is full of sculptures, fountains and monuments that tell their very own story, whether freestanding or as part of a building. We recommend the curious sculpture of the Kallendresser at Alter Markt in Cologne's Old Town - or a visit to Tünnes & Schäl, the two legendary caricatures of Cologne's characters in front of the Groß St. Martin church.

At the Hohenzollern Bridge, you will see the equestrian statue of the last German emperor, Wilhelm I. Numerous other monuments will line your tour, so stop here and there and discover Cologne's character through numerous photo opportunities.
