The 25th Forum of New Music at the Deutschlandfunk Chamber Music Hall in Cologne is an impressive event that will take place on September 27 and October 4, 2025. Two evenings full of sonic diversity will show how music can serve as a medium of understanding and dialog.
On the first evening, the Asasello Quartet will perform works by Shostakovich and compositions from Finland, Estonia and Poland. A powerful symbiosis that unites historical and contemporary soundscapes and is presented on platforms such as Deutschlandradio not only musically but also thematically.
A week later, on October 4, the E-MEX Ensemble and Spółdzielnia Muzyczna Contemporary Ensemble will transform the stage into a place of intercultural encounters. Works by Jazylbekova, Eckert and Holz, together with a German-Polish ensemble exchange, create an emotional sound journey that crosses borders and inspires reflection.
Both concert evenings unite the message that art is capable of building bridges between different cultures and societies. Admission is free, inviting you to experience cultural diversity and intellectual discourse.
