On Sunday, July 6, 2025, on Cologne's Christopher Street Day, everyone should be able to participate in society: For the second time, ColognePride e.V., the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) and 1. FC Köln are setting up the CSD Inclusion Area in front of St. Aposteln church as a joint initiative. This area enables people with disabilities and their companions to follow the demonstration with the same ease. In addition to twenty designated wheelchair spaces, a blind reportage offers thirty blind or severely visually impaired guests the chance to follow the impressive event in all its facets. Equipped with barrier-free sanitary facilities and extended seating options, the initiative strengthens the inclusive awareness that is a central principle of CSD in Cologne. The CSD Inclusion Area is therefore not only a testimony to an urban society based on solidarity, but also part of the commitment to combat social discrimination of all kinds. Access to the Inclusion Area is only possible with free tickets issued by the LVR. To ensure careful planning, please register in advance for the limited number of places by emailing CSD@lvr.de. The organization is further simplified if "wheelchair space", "blind reportage" or "other restriction" is listed in the subject line.
We wish you a good time at the CSD in Cologne 2025!
