Walking tour in the old town on the trail of the Romans

You can discover COLONIA best of all the way the Romans did:- per pedes. This search for evidence partly follows the course of the Roman city walls, partly right through the middle of the former Roman city, which today is still the centre of Cologne. Did the Romans also stroll along the "Hohe Straße-? What is special about the "Hafenstraße-? You can walk from the once mighty Northern city gate to the artistically reconstructed and almost completely maintained Roman Tower (about one kilometre). That way, you get a feeling for the scale of the former Roman provincial capital and, in addition, you find out much about life within these walls.
