Book premiere with Henning Krautmacher and Marcel Seeger

On October 6, 2025, the Thalia bookstore on Neumarkt invites you to the special book premiere "Kölner Plätze & Plätzchen" (Cologne squares & cookies). Henning Krautmacher, known as the voice of the Cologne band "Höhner" and awarded for his social commitment, presents a literary and culinary homage to Cologne together with master confectioner Marcel Seeger. In 30 personal stories, Krautmacher takes readers to well-known and hidden places in the city - from Roncalliplatz to    Ebertplatz. Each of these places is complemented by a unique recipe from Seeger, which makes the diversity of Cologne tangible in terms of taste. The 3D-designed Domplätzchen in particular promises an original moment of indulgence. With a mixture of heart and humor, "Kölner Plätze & Plätzchen" invites you to discover the city and its stories in a new, interactive way. This event symbolizes the unique combination of culture, history and creative craftsmanship that makes Cologne so special.
