Brückenmusik

Since 1995, **Brückenmusik** has invited visitors to enjoy an extraordinary sound experience beneath the Deutz Bridge. Inside the structure’s roughly 550-metre-long hollow interior, immersive sound installations await in a setting unlike any other in Cologne.

The bridge’s distinctive acoustics turn every visit into a journey of discovery: sounds travel through the space, interact with concrete and architecture, and continually reveal new listening perspectives. During the ten-day summer festival, hourly guided tours offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in these fascinating resonant spaces. As capacity is limited, booking early is recommended.

Each sound installation engages with this exceptional site in its own way. Art, sound and urban architecture merge to create an intense experience—right in the heart of Cologne and directly on the Rhine.
