Cargo Bike Family Event

On July 11, colognecargo.bike will open its grounds on Schanzenstraße for an event that offers a playful way to experience the growing culture of urban cycling. The highlight is a course that gives parents and children the opportunity to explore the dynamics of a cargo bike under realistic conditions. The event will be complemented by manufacturers presenting their latest models and technical innovations, which visitors are welcome to test thoroughly. The Cologne Traffic Safety Association is setting up interactive stations where visitors can explore issues related to safety, awareness in traffic, and mindful cycling. Catering will be provided by an inclusive team from IN VIA Cologne, which will offer a carefully curated selection of food and an ice cream stand, providing a low-barrier break from the lively program. The event combines hands-on experience with thoughtful approaches to urban mobility and invites participants to question familiar routines and gain new perspectives on everyday life on two wheels.
