Climate Festival Cologne

From 21 to 27 September 2026, Cologne will become a stage for climate action in practice—colourful, creative and full of energy. For one week, the Climate Festival invites you to discover today’s solutions and tomorrow’s visions, and to get involved yourself.

A varied programme awaits you, including tours of special locations, exciting workshops, inspiring talks, information events, live music and parties. Companies, organisations and the city administration will demonstrate in practical ways how sustainable change can work.

For example, discover pioneering circular-economy projects in the *“Wa! Germany”* exhibition, experience climate action on guided tours through Cologne’s sewer system or the district-heating tunnel beneath the Rhine, and exchange ideas at events on topics such as sustainable mobility, heat pumps, upcycling, food and climate adaptation.
