Musik in den Häusern der Stadt

From November 10 to 16, Cologne's heartbeat opens up for "Music in the Houses of the City". This unique event presents itself in living rooms, offices and studios in the cathedral city and promises an intimate encounter with sounds from all over the world. The KunstSalon e.V., an organizer with a tradition of over 30 years, brings together exquisite jazz, classical and world music. Born out of the history of neighbourly togetherness, it creates a festival that connects its participants through a musical bridge - a bridge between the individual and the community, between the local and the global.

This year, there are sound spectrums such as from the band ANTIGUA, which combines jazz with bossa nova, or the melancholy soundscapes of George Clark & Jakob Wagner. The concerts, performed by outstanding and award-winning artists, offer a kaleidoscope of atmospheric sound colors. The subtle brilliance of this music is enhanced by the unusual venues carefully chosen by KunstSalon to emphasize the unifying power of art and bring the regional spaces to life.
