Sala Lieber - Solo Exhibition

Art Galerie 7 kicks off the new season with the Sala Lieber Solo Show, presenting various series of works by artist Sala Lieber from September 4 to October 17, 2026. Held in conjunction with the DC Open gallery tour, the exhibition invites visitors to discover a visual world in which historical traditions and the contemporary spirit come together in a surprisingly lighthearted way. Sala Lieber, a master’s student at the Düsseldorf Academy of Art, works with vibrant colors, playful details, and a masterfully crafted visual language. Her works play with art-historical references without ever feeling heavy-handed. Instead, a lively dialogue emerges between the past and the present, characterized by subtle irony, elegance, and modern freshness. The artist will be present in person at the opening reception on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m.
