Wine Market on the Banks of the Rhine in Cologne

Pleasure/gourmet

Winemakers from the best wine-growing regions

From July 16 to 26, 2026, a temporary venue for culinary delights will be set up between KAP686 and Schönhauser Straße, where the world of German and European wine culture will come to life right on the waterfront. Along the Agrippinaufer, winemakers will present their red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling wine, secco, non-alcoholic grape juices, and wine-based cocktails in a curated yet pleasantly laid-back setting. The open layout of the Rhine riverbank allows for a seamless transition between strolling, tasting, and taking a break, while pagoda tents offer shelter from the sun or brief rain showers. In addition, grilled specialties from the Grillkutsche, tarte flambée, open-faced sandwiches, and regional dishes invite you to a thoughtfully curated culinary evening that brings the diversity of artisanal food production to life. The staggered opening hours—weekdays starting at 1 p.m., weekends starting at 12 p.m.—allow for both brief tastings and longer encounters with the winemakers, their regions, and the stories behind their wines.
