For access to the Cologne Christmas markets the 2G rule applies, which says that visitors must be fully vaccinated or recovered. Children up to and including 15 years of age are exempt from this rule. People who cannot be vaccinated and have an appropriate medical certificate for this effect require a negative PCR test no more than 48 hours old or a negative rapid antigen test no more than 24 hours old. There will be random checks by the operators. The wearing of a medical mouth-nose protection is mandatory. For more information, please check the websites of the different markets on a daily basis.
