Impressions

The Harbour Christmas Market will be a state-of-the-art market. It will be staged next to the Chocolate Museum against a picturesque backdrop along the River Rhine and encompass 70 booths in snow-white pagoda marquees that look like sails. In addition to high-quality goods and handicrafts, the market will offer culinary delights from the region and all over the world. Visitors will also be able to enjoy hot mulled wine from a vintner at a real three-masted wooden ship. The Christmassy mood in the harbour will be enhanced by a diverse entertainment programme, which will include shanties, pirates, and a “lighthouse tavern”.
Our special tip: This year’s market will include another highlight: an impressive 48-metre-high Ferris wheel that will offer an incomparable view of the city, the Cathedral, the Rhine and, of course, the lights of the Harbour Christmas Market.
