GOLD + BETON

A project space that doesn't need to explain itself, but draws you right in: down in the Ebertplatzpassage, where concrete meets neon and where art has no dress code. GOLD + BETON is like an open studio - a place that is constantly reinventing itself because many hands, minds, sounds and perspectives come together here.

The program ranges from exhibitions, performances and music evenings to collaborations that allow networks to grow. The Ebertplatzpassage itself is part of the concept: a place with raw charm, ideal for hijacking artistically. For many acts, it becomes an experimental playing field in which boundaries, forms and habits are loosely unhinged.

GOLD + BETON is part of Brunnen e. V., an association of several art spaces on Ebertplatz. Since 2017, the network has been working to revitalize the square through art - with the support of the Cologne Department of Culture. This spirit makes the space special: you don't just move through an exhibition, but through a network of people who shape the place together.
