Lass uns Freunde bleiben

A store that not only sells vintage furniture, but consciously continues their biographies. In Bismarckstraße, a space is being created in which well-founded craftsmanship, careful selection and a reflective approach to resources are interwoven. The pieces come from European sites and are cleaned, repaired and re-set in the workshop in Cologne-Ossendorf. After refurbishment, each surface tells a story that is not nostalgically glorified, but consciously thought through.

Workshop work and individual restoration

In addition to the curated furniture, a second workshop is being created in Bergheim, where private favorites are given a new lease of life. Working with high-quality lacquers and matching color nuances enables precise restoration based on the materiality. This transforms a familiar object into a renewed but still authentic piece of home decor.

Creative Space and craft learning spaces

Since 2025, the Creative Space Lass uns Freunde werden has expanded the concept to include joint learning and design. Workshops teach craft techniques and at the same time create a place for exchange. The spaces are also open to group formats or external creatives - an open system that combines craft practice, community and cultural participation.
