20th European Boomerang Championships

On July 12 and 13, 2025, the Jahnwiese in Cologne-Müngersdorf will be transformed into an extraordinary stage for top international sport and creative public events for the second time since 2005. At the 20th European Boomerang Championships, 83 active participants and 33 international guest throwers from countries such as Australia, the USA and Brazil will demonstrate their fascinating skills in disciplines that require precision, speed and coordination. Innovative highlights such as night-time throwing with sparking boomerangs open up completely new perspectives on the sport. In addition to the dynamic competition, a beginner-friendly workshop invites those interested to explore the sustainable craft at first hand - including souvenirs: whoever catches the boomerang keeps it.
The event is organized by multiple European and world champion Vincent Faika and his team. Admission is free; snacks and a specially set up store complement the varied atmosphere.
