Cologne Soul Weekender

From May 7 to 9, 2027, Cologne will once again host the Cologne Soul Weekender, an event dedicated to the Northern Soul movement. This cultural movement, deeply rooted in the social and economic conditions of northern England, celebrates its heritage and contemporary relevance with pulsating rhythms and a contagious sense of community.

The festival kicks off on Friday with an all-nighter in the Stadtgarten concert hall, followed by an all-dayer at the Wohngemeinschaft featuring music, records, and scootering, as well as a live recording of the Blechgedanken Scootering podcast.

A special event takes place at the dance school across from the Gloria, where a Northern Soul dance class is offered for those who want to polish their moves or simply give it a try, before the highlight: the Northern Soul all-nighter at the GLORIA, featuring renowned DJs from across Europe.

Sunday winds down in a relaxed atmosphere at the Wohngemeinschaft with coffee, cake, and soul.
