Die Weiße Rose
At the Cologne Summer Festival, the musical ‘Die Weiße Rose’ will be performed at the Kölner Philharmonie from July 28 to August 2. The multi-award-winning musical by Vera Bolten (book and direction) and Alex Melcher (music) combines meticulous historical research with a powerful, rock-infused sound. It tells the story of the student resistance group White Rose: from initial conformity to resolute opposition against the Nazi regime.
