The exhibition "Living Spaces - Contemporary Perspectives from NRW" at the Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur is dedicated to the many facets of life and living in the 21st century. Visitors can experience the contemplation of 14 positions by contemporary artists who focus on urban environments, industrial landscapes and social interactions. This presentation, which includes both photographs and films, features works by artists such as Claudia Fährenkemper, Frank Dömer and Alexander Lackmann, to name but a few. The works shed light on how people deal with the legacies of the past and provide an outlook on future developments. The emotional discourse on personal and collective identities as well as home is enormously enriched by the photographic works of different generations of artists, both from North Rhine-Westphalia and with international roots. The exhibits are in color and black and white and encourage visitors to reflect on living together in a new way. The exhibition is open daily at Mediapark 7, Cologne, until July 12, 2026 - except Wednesdays.
